Barney, husband of the late Yvonne Lopes King, Property Mistress for The DuPont Playhouse and longtime member of Local 284, lost his battle with cancer on November 29, 2008 surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his Daughter Lonnie, Granddaughter Darby and two Sons, Scott and Kalai Barney will be remembered fondly by members as an historian, storyteller, and friend to the Local.
